Caroline V. Smith Interiors is an interior design firm led by Caroline Smith, ASID. Born and raised in Atlanta, Caroline took her passion for interiors to the University of Georgia where she earned her BFA in Interior Design from the Lamar Dodd School of Art.

After graduating Caroline moved to New York City where she started working under one of New York’s renowned designers Mariette Himes Gomez. Caroline was a senior designer at Gomez Associates working on residential projects all over the country. After 5 years at Gomez Associates, Caroline accepted a senior designer position with Nathan Egan Interiors. This new endeavor gave her an opportunity to explore a different style and work on numerous projects throughout the New York area.

In 2009 Caroline embarked on a new chapter in her career and launched her own design firm in New York City. A year later she and her husband moved back south, and there she relaunched her business. Caroline describes her style as “classically inspired with a modern flair.” She enjoys decorating with layers and turning her clients’ houses into homes. Caroline lives in Memphis with her husband and two children.
